Marian Claville Burks passion for real estate is more than about making a sell. She’s also a professional matchmaker, problem solver,hope giver, and a real estate wealth advisor.
Her mission is to see the Shreveport/Bossier City area thrive through homeownership and she has a goal to put 100 families in homes by the end of 2020.
“If more people own their homes and take better care of it and themselves it will change the dynamic of our community,” said Burks, a Shreveport native who began real estate investing in 2015 and became a realtor in 2016. “Building generational wealth coupled with the technology of this time will move our community forward.”
Burks created the Marian Home Group in 2017 because of her increase of buyers and sellers in her business. Her executive assistant, Stepfionne Morris, was already working with her and was one of the reasons her business grew significantly. Lead buyers’ agent Kristen Buckingham joined the team in late 2018 and has been a Rockstar!
“We strive to make the home buyer process seamless. We give our clients a lot of attention & love,” said Burks.
Burks’ love for all things real estate is one of the reasons she sees success in the real estate sales arena.
“This business [real estate] is my passion. I couldn’t see myself doing anything else,” Burks said. “Our clients are our family and our vision for the future is vast. To make the change we are looking to make getting 100 families in homes by the end of 2020 is just the start of a generational movement and we are here for it.”
